3. Involved Children: The Building Blocks of our Community

Involved-Children

Community. A word that is used almost everyday yet hardly anyone takes the time to consider what it really means. Webster’s dictionary defines it as “a unified body of individuals,” however, the true meaning of the word is much more dynamic. How can we expect to thrive and compete to the best of our ability with a bunch of benchwarmers? If we start teaching our children early the value of pitching in, raising their voices to be heard, and making a difference where their talents lead them, we have the foundation for greatness.
