The week before Mother's Day, Pastor Tim Flener asked for donations of toiletries and the like for Gabriel's Horn, a service the church supports. The small congregation responded and the collected items were brought in for Mother's Day, then delivered on Tuesday.
The church seeks to help where it can and lets the community know it is there, especially for prayer. First Baptist Church of South Haven also takes gifts to the strip mall next door.

Without help from volunteers, HO would not be able to operate as successfully as we currently do. Volunteers serve an average of 15 hours a week in our food pantry, help with office work, perform maintenance jobs, clean properties and make our lives so much easier!

Nonprofit organizations serving Porter County spent last Wednesday (May 9) evening sharing their work with each other at the Porter County Nonprofit Expo hosted by the Porter County Community Foundation and United Way of Porter County. More than 300 staff members and volunteers representing 66 different nonprofit organizations participated in the biennial event that was held at the Porter County Expo Center.

Come join Habitat for Humanity as they welcome the newest partner family to their new home at 104 Poplar Ct, Hebron. We will gather on Saturday, May 19, 2012, at 4:00 pm to welcome Julie and Annie Spears to the Hebron community and their new home.
Julie has worked hard completing her sweat equity hours and waited patiently as the construction of her home was completed.
