There is still space available for Portage TOWNSHIP Parks’ FREE Kid’s Fishing Workshop scheduled on two consecutive Saturdays, September 21st & 28th. Sponsored by the Porter County Conservation Club, kids will learn the basics of fishing including; choosing the right lure and bait, tying knots, and casting. The first day of the workshop will be held at Field of Dreams Park and for the second day of the workshop, kids will be able to put their new skills to the test with a day of fishing at the Porter County Conservation Club! Materials and equipment provided.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED by 4p on Thursday, Sept. 20th at the Portage Township Trustee’s Office 3484 Airport Road, Portage Indiana 46368. Child required to attend both days and be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
