Portage High School’s Thespian Drama Club will present the Spring Musical, Legally Blonde The Musical! the next two weekends at the PHS East Auditorium. The show brings to life a delightful musical version of the adored 2001 film, starring Reese Witherspoon and Luke Wilson. It follows the journey of Elle Woods, a UCLA California fashionista who enters Harvard Law School to regain the love of her former boyfriend Warner Huntington III. Along the way, Elle discovers more important aspects of life, new friends and true love.
The PHS musical includes a cast of forty talented students, and including the pit orchestra, production staff, running crew, lights and sound, more than one hundred students will be bringing this musical extravaganza to life each and every night!
The fall play featured a plane crash on the stage. Come to the spring musical to see a trailer as part of the set.
Come join us as we light the stage with two hours of laughs, music and dance the next two weekends! Shows are Fridays and Saturdays April 19, 20, 26, 27 at 7:30 p.m., and one matinee on Sunday, April 21 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are only $10 and are available at the door. There is no reserved seating.
