The 3rd Annual Chamber Chili Challenge will be on Saturday, Oct. 8 from 11 am to 2 pm at Thomas Centennial Park in downtown Chesterton.
Held in conjunction with Chesterton’s European Market, businesses and restaurants will compete in each of their categories for People’s Choice and Most Unique chili. Public tasting/judging will be available from 11 am to 1 pm. Admission is $6 (children age 7 and under are free). Attendees may receive half off admission by bringing a non-perishable food item to be used locally to stamp out hunger.
Businesses and restaurants interested in participating in the cook-off should contact the Chamber office by Sept. 28 in order to register. Entry fee is $50, and prizes vary. Sponsorship and volunteer opportunities are also available.
