Select artist members of the Area Artists Association of the Lubeznik Center for the Arts will exhibit at the Southern Shore Art Association Gallery in April 2012. The exhibit entitled “Eye of the Beholder II” will include new work by eighteen artists in a range of 2-dimensional media including oil, acrylic, photography and pastel. The Area Artists Association is a group of juried fine artists who show together at the Lubeznik Center as well as off-site. “Eye of the Beholder II” highlights their exceptional talents as skilled innovators and craftsmen in their chosen art media.
The following artists will participate: Barbara Balis, Tom Brand, Carol Block, Laurie Schirmer Carpenter, Anneke Dekker, Kevin Firme, Kathy Gleser, Julia Holmaas, Laurel Izard, Connie Kassal, George Kassal, Rich Manalis, Brett Maniscalco, Patty Mershon Schaefer, Sara Scherberg, Ginny Scott, Carole Stodder and Gwynne Winsberg.
Join the artists on Friday, April 6, during the free Opening Reception at the Southern Shore Art Association Gallery from 5 – 8 pm, during the monthly "First Friday" celebration in Michigan City’s historic Uptown Arts District.
Refreshments and appetizers will be served.
