Immediately after our current production, Beautiful: the Carole King Musical, wraps up, Memorial Opera House will close as construction begins. However, we are not leaving the community! Not only is this closure just a temporary necessity, but Memorial Opera House is keeping active in other ways during the renovations.
We will be operating out of the Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce during construction, and Memorial Opera House staff will be available to the public on Wednesdays, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m or by appointment.
The remaining mainstage season, including Young Frankenstein and Scrooge!, should be unaffected by this closure. Keep an eye out for promotional material from Memorial Opera House (social media, emails, press releases) as we plan to host events during the summer closure including our Summer Cabaret Series at American Legion 94.
