South Haven Elementary Student to Shave Head for a Great Cause

Emma-BaileyEmma Bailey is an 8 year old, 3rd grade student at South Haven Elementary School. Usually, girls this age are concerned with playing with dolls and the Easter Bunny but not Emma; she wants to shave her head. She is hosting a Dance Party and Bake Sale for St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a volunteer-driven charity that funds childhood cancer research.

The event will be at Clancy’s Irish Pub, 2542 Portage Mall, Saturday, March 30th from 3 to 6pm and is family-friendly!

This is a “head-shaving” event so there will be qualified stylists to shave heads, so if you or someone you know needs a haircut, for a $20 donation you can have your head shaved for a great cause! If you don’t want to shave your head, no problem, you can enjoy the dance party with a great DJ for a $2 cover charge. There will also be T-shirts, baked goods and other items there for sale. Go to Emma’s page www.stbaldricks.org/events/emmabailey for more details.
