Duneland Kiwanis to Host Prime Rib Dinner for Pediatric Diabetes Research

duneland-chamberThe Chesterton/Duneland Kiwanis Club, a local service organization, is hosting a prime rib dinner to benefit the Indiana District of Kiwanis and Riley Hospital Campaign: A Path to a Cure for pediatric diabetes research. The event will be held Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Third Coast Spice Café. Prime Rib at the Spice will feature a full dinner, a 6pm and 8pm seating and local Kiwanis members as your servers.

Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased at Third Coast Spice Café, 761 Indian Boundary Rd or from any one of your local Kiwanis members. You must contact Third Coast Spice after purchasing tickets in order to reserve either the 6pm or 8pm setting. Each setting has a chance to win a $50 Chamber Gift Certificate.

Continuing in its tradition of leadership and supporting youth prenatal to age 5, the Indiana District of Kiwanis has launched a campaign to raise $1 million for Pediatric Diabetes Research at Riley Hospital for

Children/Wells Center for Pediatric Research. The campaign is scheduled to conclude September 30, 2013. The proceeds for the event will go to this campaign: the Path to a Cure for Type 1 diabetes.
