Last Friday, a group of PLTW Juniors attended the 10th Annual Association for Iron and Steel Technology (AIST) High School Engineering Seminar at Purdue Northwest in Hammond.
Students had the opportunity to network with engineers and representatives from the leading engineering firms, steel producers and power supply companies in the area. The students were then broken off into groups to tour the campus, visit the labs and participate in different engineering challenges led by the companies.
