Aylesworth Elementary
Our kindergarten team has been busy teaching Growth Mindset, writing pen pal letters, and working with their 5th grade reading buddies!

Our 3rd grade Aylesworth STEM team is having their Rocket Racers contest on Thursday, February 2nd after school at 3:30pm in the gymnasium. We welcome all to come and attend this event! It would be nice if we could have someone come out and cover the event!

Aylesworth 5th Grade
During the month of January, fifth grade students at Aylesworth Elementary School used their GRIT while completing their Famous American Projects. The final projects were AWESOME!. Students chose a famous American to research Using the information they found, students then wrote a biography all about their famous American. Students also create a trifold board to display pictures and fun facts about their famous American. The kids had a great time while learning all about their famous American!

Myers Elementary
Myers 2nd grade students made "100th day of school" creations. Each student was asked to use 100 of anything they wished - but to do something unique and creative with it. Some of the creations we saw were: 100 cotton balls to make a snowman, 100 marshmallows to create a tepee, 100 crayons in the shape of a crayon, 100 goldfish swimming in the sea, 100 coins in the shape of 100, and so and so on. Way to go 2nd graders...very creative!
