PHS Update: December 11, 2015

Learning Europe through Tap Quiz Maps
After labeling all European countries and capitals, students reviewed countries by using a app called 'Tap Quiz Maps.' Students (in Mr. Hills PHS Geography History of the World) competed with one another by attempting to have the fastest completion time. So far, the fastest combined time for all of Europe is fifty seconds (pictured is PHS Senior Jeremy Hunter)!

MCJROTC Volunteers for A Night with Santa
Cadets from PHS MCJROTC displayed the spirit of the season by assisting the Portage YMCA on Friday the 4th of December during "A Night With Santa". Happy Holidays from PHS MCJROTC!

Portage Diesel Technology Class Visits Baker College
Last month Portage Diesel Technology Class was invited to Baker College in Michigan for a tour of the opportunities offered at their campus. Students were broken up into groups and instructors showed them the technology they use in the classroom and in the shop.
