Saylor Elementary
Saylor’s first grade students were visted Wednesday by Tyler Perry from Sunset Hill Farms. Students learned about the various parts of a tree and how they grow from a seed. Students were able to physically participate in the growing of a tree by putting together a model of a tree. They started with a seed, grew roots, grew the trunk of the tree, branches and finally put leaves on the tree. It was a great experience that will surely reinforce their knowledge of trees.
