Tri-Corp Wireless has a lot to celebrate this month after the recent announcement that the Portage Tri-Corp Wireless Store was voted the number one store in the nation. Tri-Corp Wireless was started by Mark J. Miler whose original location began in Valparaiso and currently has 10 store locations in Indiana and Illinois.
“I was super shocked and super excited to hear that the Portage store was number one,” says District Manager Martha Rico. “It’s usually hard to gain any kind of traction during the month of December so this is a very big thing for us.”
“It was a very busy month with people buying phones for the holidays,” says Portage Store Manager Aaron Lawson. “The way we did it was by giving each customer the same experience as the last, ensuring each person has their personal device the way they want it. As far as choosing the perfect phone goes, we make sure they get not only the phone they want, but the phone they deserve.”
While the honor is being the number one store in the nation is a great feat, it would not be possible without the store’s excellent staff to get them to this position.
“Our staff is driven and competitive,” says Rico. They always take the opportunity to grow and become better.” Tri-Corp’s staff and customer service have often been credited as the reason behind the company’s success with not only their knowledge on the items they are selling, but their relationships with the customer as well.
“We attribute our success to our attitude, attention to detail and top notch customer service,” says Lawson. “We have asked many of our customers why they make the switch to Sprint and the answer is always freedom from data caps, freedom from contracts, and freedom from terrible customer service.”
“Our staff are always informed and always ready to give you the information you need,” says Rico. “They are always up to speed with promotions and it’s because of them that it’s always possible for the customer to have a great experience.”
While one store out of thousands in the nation may not make a significant difference, the fact that the overall best store is located in Northwest Indiana is a major benefit to Portage and NWI residents.
“With Sprint and Tri-Corp, we are the best in value when it comes to our competitors with the best customer service to serve the NWI community,” says Rico. “We are aggressive in getting the best value for the NWI community. We are aggressive in getting the best deals for them.”
