Dean Biddle and Andy Funk, of Dean’s Tire Pros & Auto Care, wanted to be able to give back to the communities in which their stores are located as part of their grand re-opening in Portage and Chesterton. They chose Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County to be the recipient of their generosity! On June 12, 2015 – Portage and Duneland Clubs were invited to be part of the grand re-opening festivities. Torch and Keystone Club members sold M & M’s to customers in efforts to raise funds for their community service projects. In addition, a portion of sales received that day were donated back to the Clubs.
“It is fantastic when companies in our neighborhoods want to give back, especially to organizations like Boys & Girls Clubs whose purpose is to ensure the GREAT Futures our community children. We are very thankful of Dean’s Tire Pros & Auto Care’s generosity and investment,” said Alison Martin, director of resource development for Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County.
