Registration for Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County’s winter athletic league season begins soon. Check the Club listing below for specific dates and times. Registration will take place during all three locations’ open hours and also online for Valparaiso Unit’s indoor soccer league. Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County athletic leagues offer fun and instructional play that focuses on good sportsmanship and honesty. The league season dates and age groups are as follows:
Valparaiso Unit’s Indoor Soccer League:
Registration runs November 17 through December 6, 2014 during open hours or online at bgcpoco.org/ClubUnits/Valparaiso/athleticprograms.
Club location is 354 West Jefferson Street, Valparaiso
Indoor Soccer League Divisions and Fees include:
Biddy (5 – 7 Year Old): Registration Fee is $25.
8-9 Year-Old League: Registration fee is $35.
10-12 Year-Old League: Registration Fee is $35.
The indoor soccer league begins in mid-January and runs through mid-March at the Valparaiso Unit’s main gymnasium.
New this season! The 10-12 year old division will have soccer jerseys.

Portage and South Haven Clubs’ Winter Basketball Leagues:
Registration runs November 10 through December 12, 2014 at the Portage Unit. Season runs January 5 through March 2, 2015.
Registration runs November 8 through December 13, 2014 at the South Haven Unit. Season begins in January 5, 2015 and ends March 14, 2015.
Register at Portage Unit during open hours and at the South Haven Unit Monday – Friday from 3:30 to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 3 PM.
Club locations include:
Forrest L. “Dusty” Rhode Portage Club, 5895 Evergreen Avenue, Portage.
South Haven Club, 723 Longrun Road, Valparaiso.
League Divisions for both Clubs include:
Biddy (5-7 Years Old, South Haven; 6-7 Years Old, Portage): Registration Fee is $30.
Junior League (8-10 Years Old): Registration Fee is $35.
Senior League (11 – 13 Years Old) Registration Fee is $40.

All league players must be members of the Club. Annual membership is $35 per child. Membership and league fee assistance is available for those who qualify.
