ymone Hayes enjoyed her senior season playing the number one position at Calumet High School this past girls golf season. Athletically, she is one of the best athletes at Calumet contributing to the swim team, basketball team, and a state qualifier for the track and field team.
Although Symone lacks experience playing the game of golf compared to most of our players, she makes up for it with her desire, determination, and work ethic. Symone has been medalist in numerous matches this season for coach Tim McGee while competing for the Calumet Warriors. We are happy to announce that she will continue her education and athletic career at Indiana University Northwest. Symone looks to major in a field of study that will prepare her for a position in the medical field. She currently carries a GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale and when she isn't competing athletically Symone plays trumpet in the marching band.
