A graduate of Maulana Azad Medical College at the University of Delhi, India, where he also served his radiology residency, Mishra moved to the United States in 1999 and, in 2004, completed a radiology residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Center in Chicago. After finishing his residency, he was accepted for fellowship positions in neuroradiology and interventional radiology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. “I am pleased to be a part of the medical staff at Porter,” said Mishra. “Porter has some very advanced technology for performing interventional and neurointerventional radiologic procedures and the skill set of my fellow physicians is unprecedented.” Prior to coming to Porter, Mishra worked for LaPorte Hospital in LaPorte, Indiana and for St. James Hospital and Health Centers in Chicago Heights and Olympia Fields, Illinois. Porter Health System has two hospital campuses and seven outpatient facilities serving Porter, Lake, LaPorte, Starke and Jasper counties. With more than 350 physicians representing 50 medical specialties, Porter Health System is a leader in technology, innovation and overall patient care. Related Articles
