 The Chesterton/Duneland Chamber of Commerce hosted the season opener of Chesterton’s European Market this past Saturday, May 5. More than 90 merchants, farmers, artists and chefs took part in the event, which was held at Third & Broadway in historic Downtown Chesterton.
“This is the largest season opener we’ve ever enjoyed,” said Heather Ennis, Executive Director of the Chamber. “We’ve never had more than 60 booths in the past on opening day. I think the word has gotten out that this is not only a profitable event for our merchants, but also an extremely enjoyable and uplifting community experience. We’ve already booked more than 90 vendors for next Saturday’s Market, which is very exciting.” |

The sale will be held at the Morgan Township School Greenhouse, located next to Morgan Township School, 299 South State Road 49 in Valparaiso.
