VisionPoint has independent eye doctors offering eye exams on-site as well as a wide variety of eyewear, contact lenses, and sunglasses to meet all customer needs. We have a huge hand picked selection of fashionable as well as affordable designer sunglasses and designer eyeglasses for every lifestyle and budget. Eyeglasses can be provided the same or next day for most customers. If you are looking for something unique and special, VisionPoint is the optical store you need to visit for eye care. VisionPoint carries many eyewear designers and exclusive frame lines providing custom eyewear to represent your individual style. There are independent optometrists at all VisionPoint locations providing eye exams for glasses and contact lenses. If you already have your prescription, no appointment is necessary to shop at any of our locations. VisionPoint accepts many vision insurances and discount plans. VisionPoint has locations in Crown Point, Schererville, Portage, Valparaiso, and Laporte. VisionPoint also serves the communities of Merrillville, Gary, Lowell, Cedar Lake, Dyer, St. John, Griffith, Highland, Munster, Lake Station, Hobart, Chesterton, Michigan City, Westville, Rolling Prairie, & Union Mills.

Eyeglass and Contact Lens Exams AvailableCall us or make an appointment online to schedule an eye exam. Walk-ins are also welcome during our appointment hours. We are open every day except Sunday. Please note that as a walk-in we will do our best to accommodate you, but if you have a specific time and you would like to have an appointment, please contact one of our stores for the available exam times to make an appointment or request an appointment on-line. Glasses Same DayWith our large inventory of frames and sunglasses, we can have your eyeglasses or sunglasses customized for you the same day in many cases! Most glasses can be done in our in-house labs including sunglasses, transitions, safety and sport lenses. Receive glasses the SAME DAY* at our Valparaiso location and NEXT DAY* at our Portage location. *Prescriptions limitations may apply. VisionPoint is a locally owned optical retailer in Northwest Indiana with five convenient locations. VisionPoint opened its first store in 2003 bringing quality frames and one-hour service to Valparaiso. The following year, VisionPoint expanded to Portage, and continue to grow as it acquired the Eyeglass Emporium chain. Each VisionPoint location has an independent optometrist on-site for eye exam for glasses or contacts.
