About Duneland Ballroom
For the last ten years, the staff of Duneland Ballroom has been showing northwest Indiana the many benefits of social dancing. And now, for the first time, we are bringing ballroom to the heart of the Duneland community. Imagine never having to turn down another invitation to dance simply because you "don't know" how to dance! Social Dancing
At Duneland Ballroom, we make learning to dance simple, easy, and fun. Through a combination of private lessons, group classes, and practice parties, you can become comfortable on virtually any dance floor. We teach a large variety of social dances: swing, waltz, tango, salsa, hustle, foxtrot, merengue, cha cha, rumba, and more! But more important than just teaching you a specific dance, we teach you how to dance, so no matter where you are, you can feel relaxed on confident!
Our staff has over ten years of experience in teaching people to dance locally and nationally, and we are so excited to now bring that experience to the Duneland community! We work with you to create a personalized dance program that fits your needs and interests and will make you the dancer you want to be. No two students are the same, and we make sure that the dances you learn and the way that we teach them to you are the right fit for you!
Weddings and Other Events
If you are getting married and would like to prepare for that first dance as a married couple, Duneland Ballroom can help! Some couples are looking for specific choreography for their wedding dance, while others plan ahead to learn some social basics so that they can enjoy their time on the dance floor all night! Whatever you might be looking for, Duneland Ballroom can put together a customized program to make your reception a night you'll never forget!
Parents of the bride or groom are also welcome to plan ahead for father-daughter or mother-son dances, and perhaps to brush up on some basics for themselves as well!
