Tri Kappa’s Zeta Psi Chapter to Host Run to Give Back to Community

Exercise-MovementOn April 22, 2012 (Earth Day), Tri Kappa’s Zeta Psi chapter will host its inaugural Tri Kappa Dash for the ‘Green’ 5K Run/Walk to raise funds to promote charity, culture and education in our community. Last year Tri Kappa’s Zeta Psi chapter donated over $10,000 to a variety of organizations including Meals on Wheels, St Jude House, scholarships for college-bound students, and art scholarships to middle school students to name a few. This year we are committed to give back even more to our community.

The fundraiser will be on April 22, beginning at Lake Central High School and will follow the cross country path through the surrounding neighborhoods. The race start time is 8:00am, rain or shine, on a road course with moderate hills. Preregister at http://trikappadash.com/event-registration/. The cost is $20 in advance or $25 the day of the event.

Package pick-up will be on Saturday, April 21 at Fleet-Feet (635 US 30, Schererville, In between the hours of 11am and 4pm.
