If you have a talented Canine who is an avid Frisbee catcher you won’t want to miss the competitions going on at the Spring Out to Sunset Kite Festival at Sunset Hill Farm on Saturday, May 18th, 10 – 3 pm. Competitions will be going on throughout the day. We will supply the discs or you may bring your own. Great Fun! Come out and show off your dogs!

The Friends of Portage Township Foundation, a non-profit 501c3 group, is hosting a fundraising event for the growth and development of the Portage Township Parks. (Haven Hallow and Field of Dreams) Trek the Township is a 20-mile family-fun bicycling event to be held starting at beautiful Haven Hallow Park, 330 west 700 North, on Saturday May 18th at 8am.

Camp FUNset is 8 fun-filled theme weeks of good old fashioned summer camp! Campers will enjoy such themes as, AMAZING RACE, PIONEER DAYS, GAME ON, CELEBRATE USA, CREATE-ART, WILD WATER, SUPERHERO FILMS, and our very own Signature Wilderness Camp! Camps run Mon thru Thursday from 9 am to 3 pm. Fee is $80 | Limited space available

Bog stomping, bug hunting, beach combing and night hiking inside the National Lakeshore, Dunes Discovery Camp is truly a summer camp like no other.

Standing on the grounds of the former U.S. Steel Good Fellow Club Youth Camp, Dunes Learning Center's five night "Dunes Discovery" camps immerse 4th-6th graders in the unique ecology and history of the dunes. During their stay, campers explore the beaches, prairies, dunes and woodlands of the National Park. Nature games, camp crafts, music and educational activities are all part of the adventure.

“Camp FUNset” registration will take place on Saturday, April 13th from 9 am to noon at Sunset Hill Farm Park 775 Meridian Road, Valparaiso. Register for any of our 8 fun-filled theme camps and receive a $5 discount of each camp on this day. Camp FUNset takes place Monday through Thursday from 9 to 3 pm.
