Each year, Indiana Dunes Tourism presents R.O.S.E. (Recognition of Outstanding Service) Awards to those businesses and people who provide service that goes above and beyond. The tourism bureau is asking people to nominate either a business or an individual who works at a business. Nominations should also include a brief explanation about why the business or person is worthy of an award. Indiana Dunes Tourism is seeking nominations in the following categories: hotels, restaurants, retailers, and attractions/recreation locations. Nominations can be sent via e-mail to info@indianadunes.com (with R.O.S.E. in the subject line) or can be mailed to: Indiana Dunes Tourism R.O.S.E. Awards, 1215 N. State Road 49, Porter, IN 46304. Indiana Dunes Tourism Promotions Director Ken Kosky said the agency sees restaurants, attractions, stores and lodging facilities as the front line in the effort to make people feel welcomed and appreciated while visiting or residing in Porter County. “We present the awards to recognize those who are doing a great job, and to draw attention to the importance of making each encounter with a customer a positive one,” Kosky said. “Outstanding customer service is a major factor in a person returning to an individual business and an overall destination, so we’re glad to honor those whose hard work and positive attitude make a difference.” Related Articles
