Harbor Buick GMC has always relied on their customers. Later this afternoon, Harbor Buick GMC in Portage will be receiving an award from General Motors for being the “top customer retention dealership in the district.” This means a great deal to everyone involved in the dealership, particularly because they put such a heavy weight on their customer’s satisfaction. General Manager Ken Nahod said, “We couldn’t be more pleased to have an award that revolves around our customer base. We know that they’re how and why we do what we do. It’s fitting to be honored for something because of your customers.”

Every year for the 111th year in a row, Chicago has sponsored the annual Chicago Auto Show bringing together people of all nations and variations, relating us all to something that we have in common: vehicles. Whether you’re going to check out the new exhibits, eat the traditional Chicago style food, go check out the futuristic concept cars, or just mosey around as a potential buyer, there is something at this show for everyone.

The Midwest Corvette and Chevy Show is working hard, this month, to make sure that you get your “car fix”, even if our show isn’t until August 11th and 12th of this year. The Chicago Auto Show is the nation’s largest (and longest running!) auto show.

There’s something for every car lover. New models, new technology, exhibits, food, drink, friends – anything and everything! We want to make sure that you get in on the action.

Chevrolet has done it again by releasing a new vehicle that is dubbed the smallest Chevrolet so far- the 2013 Chevrolet Spark. Smaller than the new 2012 Sonic, this vehicle can be compared to the Fiat 500 and the Scion iQ, and is really something. With GM really honing in on manufacturing smaller cars for these gas-trying times, the Spark should grace the lot at Harbor Chevrolet Buick GMC in Michigan City in the spring of 2012, just in time to beat the heat, hit the beach, and go on road trips all with the ease of mind that you’ll be riding comfortably and getting great gas mileage.

The Spark was inspired by the Chevrolet Beat concept car and will be considered a compact car with dimensions ringing in at 114.7” long, 62.9” wide, but with 86.3 interior feet of room allowing for up to four occupants. This will be a five-door hatchback style car that according to GM “..will provide versatility to the segment of extremely fuel-efficient small cars in the U.S.” This vehicle really gives the competition a run for its money with 11.4 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats as well.
