Franciscan Alliance Walking the Walk against Heart Attack, Stroke

Walking-the-walk-against-heart-disease-strokeFranciscan Alliance employees, families and canine companions took strides for a good cause recently when they participated in the 2015 American Heart Association Porter County Heart Walk at Coffee Creek Watershed Preserve in Chesterton.

The annual walk is the Heart Association’s premier community event, which annually raises hundreds of thousands of dollars nationwide in an effort to help combat heart disease and stroke, the nation’s number one and number five killers, respectively. The amount raised so far this year still is being totaled.
