Real-life stories of people who have given of themselves so that others might live will be told April 27, 2012 during a Franciscan St. Anthony Health-Crown Point observance of National Donate Life Month.
The program will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the hospital main lobby with a prayer, a procession of flowers, and remarks from hospital officials and representatives of organ donor agencies.
Donor witnesses will present testimonies of how their lives and those of loved ones have been affected. An 11 a.m. Mass will follow in the Corpus Christi Chapel.
A donor registration drive will take place from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. outside of the cafeteria, near the main lobby.
The hospital is located at 1201 S. Main St.
