Porter Health System has announced that Zeba Ali, MD, has joined the hospital’s network of family medicine physicians. Previously practicing in Michigan City, Indiana, Ali is currently seeing patients at Portage Medical Group located within Porter’s Portage Hospital at 3630 Willowcreek Road.
Ali completed medical school in Lahore, Pakistan and is a graduate of the St. Vincent Mercy Family Residency Program in Toledo, Ohio.
In commenting on her decision to pursue a career in family medicine, Ali said, “I like working with all ages of patients. I feel as if I almost become a part of the families I treat.” Understanding the importance of preventive medicine, Ali added that she likes to see her patients before they become ill.

In her practice, Ali treats patients from infancy through older adulthood who present with all types of acute and chronic illnesses. She also provides preventive medicine services such as physicals, seasonal flu shots and immunizations.
