Porter Health System and HealtheACCESS Announce Partnership

Porter Health System and HealtheACCESS LLC recently announced the acquisition of Porter’s occupational medicine services, Northwest Indiana Occupational Medicine Services (NIOMS) by HealtheACCESS, LLC. The purchase of NIOMS now makes HealtheACCESS the largest provider for occupational medicine in the Porter County area. In the new arrangement, Porter remains a strategic partner and will be the exclusive, preferred provider of ancillary services to HealtheACCESS.

This transaction takes advantage of HealtheACCESS’s experience as an occupational medicine provider and Porter’s ancillary services and locations. The result is an improved care delivery system that supports the continued health and well-being of the community.

Additionally, the model HealtheACCESS and Porter Hospital are developing should aid employers, corporations, municipalities and local government entities in improving healthcare access at reduced cost for all enrolled employees. The program is designed around proactive and preventive care medicine through wellness and primary care. "Proactive medicine is where we need to be," stated Jonathan Nalli, CEO of Porter Health System.
