Attendees will learn how to minimize joint pain and arthritis, how to avoid urinary disorders and get questions answered about breast care, lung cancer and early detection, during a free Listen Up, Ladies! event, presented by Franciscan Alliance’s Spirit of Women health education program, May 16.
Beginning at 9:30 a.m., James Hartson, MD, will discuss joint pain and arthritis, while Jennifa Thomas, MS, NP-C, will present information on urinary disorders. Amanda Leidy, RN, a nurse navigator, will discuss breast care and lung issues. Her presentation, along with health screenings, will be offered between 8 and 9:30 a.m.
Chair massages and refreshments also will be available.
