Porter Regional Hospital Presents Community Wellness Programs for July 2013

Minimally Invasive Hip Replacement Surgery

Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Michael Leland will discuss chronic hip pain and help participants learn if they are a candidate for hip replacement surgery. The presentation will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9 at the Strongbow Inn, US Highway 30 in Valparaiso.

Game Changer: Sports-Related Concussions

Learn how concussions are identified and treated. Family Medicine Physician Dr. Michael Mirochna will explain the physician’s role in diagnosing, treating and returning athletes to play. The event will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 17 in the Community Room at Porter Regional Hospital, 85 East US Highway 6 in Valparaiso.
