We're moving into June! Inconceivable! This warm-weather-weekend brings a whole host of fun things for you and the family to partake in including: Flashback Cinema featuring The Princess Bride, Plays, Fundraisers (with and without exercise involved), a cruise night, musical performances, donuts at the park, and much, much more! June 1: Valpo Police 5K-9 Run/Walk - Valparaiso, IN
On Friday the walk/run will start in Central Park Plaza in downtown Valpo and will feature refreshments, fireworks, and proceeds will benefit the Valpo Police K9 Unit! 

June 1 - 3: Footlight Players to Offer "The Drowsy Chaperone" - Michigan City, IN
The Footlight Players of Michigan City will be offering a fresh new comedy within a musical called THE DROWSY CHAPERONE! 

June 1: Schererville Parks Donuts & Descenants - Schererville, IN
Do you love donuts? How about the Descendants? Schererville Parks has created this yummy villainous mash up just for you! The event will feature food trucks, crafters, a DJ, face painting, costume contest and free Descendants Movie at 9pm! 

June 1: NIPSCO Puerto Rico Hurricane Relief Fundraiser 2018 - Schererville, IN
NIPSCO is doing its part to help the people of Puerto Rico who were devastated by Hurricane Maria. This fundraiser will feature music, dancing, salsa lessons, cash bar, food, and more to benefit Puerto Rico. 

June 2: Annual Highland Downtown Car Cruise - Highland, IN
Downtown Highland will be the venue for the Town's 5th Downtown Car Cruise on Saturday, June 2nd, from 1 pm to 5 pm. The event will be hosted by the Highland Main Street Board, in conjunction with the Highland Redevelopment Commission. The event will feature scores of vintage cars, parked in Highland's downtown, along Highway Avenue and Jewett Street, from Kennedy Avenue to 5th Street. The event is free, and open to all ages. During the event, visitors will be able to stop in and frequent downtown businesses that are open! 

June 2: 8th Annual Jammin with Save the Dunes - Michigan City, IN
It's time again for Jammin with Save the Dunes!! Jammin is a signature fundraiser which brings hundreds of dunes lovers to beautiful Washington Park in Michigan City on the Lake Michigan shoreline. The festival features many of your favorite local breweries, local wineries and local food. They are also bringing back awesome bands with local ties!

June 2: Westville Lemonade Stand Benefits Childhood Cancer Research - Westville, IN
In an effort to raise funds and awareness for the fight against childhood cancer, friends of Caitlyn Fennell will host a lemonade stand during Lemonade Days on Saturday, June 2 at 10 am to 4 pm on Main Street in Westville, IN. The lemonade stand will raise money for childhood cancer research through Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF).

June 2: Strack & Van Til Healthy Eating Event - Valparaiso, IN
Strack & Van Til will have several manufacturers of natural, organic, gluten free and better for you foods present to offer samples and educate on their brands! Looking for some inspiration in healthy eating? Look no further than this weekend's event! 

June 3: Flashback Cinema - The Princess Bride at Portage 16 IMAX + GDX - Portage, IN
Inconceivable! Come relive the cult-classic "The Princess Bride" in comfort at the Portage IMAX this Sunday! 

June 3: Portage Founders Square Park Series Four Festivals of Food, Fun, Family & Friends - Portage, IN
Come out to Founders Square Park where there will be food trucks, wine/beer, and musical entertainment including the bands Calumet Band, The Salt Exchange, and Soundz of Santana!
