Auditions for "Annie" are Almost Tomorrow!
We are so excited to present the Broadway classic Annie just in time for the Holidays! Don't miss the chance to be a part of this exciting production. Bring the entire family out for auditions:
Audition Dates:
September 28th 2:00-5:00 pm (CHILDREN ONLY) at Mirror Image Dance Academy 3207 Cascade Dr, Valparaiso, IN
September 28th 7:00-10:00 pm at Memorial Opera House
September 29th 7:00-10:00 pm at Memorial Opera House
Callbacks October 1st as needed at Memorial Opera House
Production Dates:
December 5th-21st, 2014 (Friday & Saturday 8:00 pm, Sunday 2:00 pm)
Please have 16 bars of music prepared from a Broadway show that is not Annie. An accompanist will be provided for you. Auditions are closed to parents. Sunday's auditions at Mirror Image are for children only. Children are allowed to audition at other times listed as well. Please come dressed comfortably as there will be a dance call. Neil Simon's The Prisoner of Second Avenue - Closing Weekend!
Mel Edison has just lost his job after many years and now has to cope with being unemployed at middle age. The action occurs during an intense summer heat wave and a prolonged garbage strike, which just exacerbates Edison's plight to no end as he and his wife Edna deal with noisy neighbors, loud sounds emanating from Manhattan streets up to their apartment and even a robbery of their apartment during broad daylight.
