The Portage High School Thespians Drama Club is proud to announce their 2013 Fall Play, Arthur Miller's acclaimed masterpiece, the Tony Award winning play ‘The Crucible’. This literary work of art is arguably one of the most read and studied dramatic works in American History and Education.
Based on the true events surrounding the 1692 Salem Witch Trials, this dramatic interpretation follows the effects those dark days had on the lives of a farmer, his wife, and the village of Salem, Massachusetts. A stunning cast of 38 actors will bring this intense drama to life as it was intended, on the stage! The show will be performed one weekend only, Friday and Saturday, November 22 & 23 at 7:30 pm; with a matinee on Sunday, November 24 at 2:30 pm. Tickets are only $7, available at the door.
