On July 3, join the City of Whiting in the beautiful Whiting Lakefront Park for a spectacular firework show in celebration of Independence Day. Start this summer off with a bang by enjoying an evening with family and friends on the shoreline of Lake Michigan, filled with skyline views, a pre-fireworks party, and an extra special firework display to spark the beginning of Whiting’s summer-long celebration.
The night will begin with a pre-fireworks party near the east side of Whiting Lakefront Park. From 7pm-10pm and through the fireworks, enjoy food, live music by the Nick Danger Band, a beer garden, family area and of course the beautiful Chicago Skyline view from the park. Choose to set up and relax along the sandy shores of Whihala Beach, or find a cozy spot in the park before the show. You can even view the fireworks from the beer garden as the party continues. Kick back, find your favorite spot and watch bursting colors and sparkles light the night sky at 10pm. The City of Whiting has arranged a fantastic, extended firework display that you won’t want to miss.
