Vietnam Veterans Of America Chapter 905 of Porter County are hosting a fund raising dance on June 15,2013 from 6 P.M. to Midnight at Woodland Park's Oakwood Hall.
For $20.00, you can get a ticket for the dance where there will be Door prizes, Silent Auctions, as well as a raffle, and Elvis. Music will be from the Vietnam era, and the name of the function is, "Dancing from the Delta to the DMZ".
Proceeds are used by Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter #905 of Porter County to help support local organizations such as Toys for Tots, food pantries, and the Veterans' Home in West Lafayette, Indiana.
We go during the year to the home and visit. While there we give them a Pizza party, play Bingo, and talk with them. We also try to assists veterans in need.
