The 2012 Harvest Festival, sponsored by the Portage Parks & Recreation Department, will be held on Saturday, October 6th from 10am-5pm and Sunday, October 7th from 12-5pm. The event consists of a juried art show, wine, cheese, & chocolate tasting, and live entertainment. The Harvest Festival will be held in the Oakwood Grand Hall at Woodland Park. Admission & parking is free.
Several local musicians will be performing during the festival. On October 6th, local Portage musician Jef Sarver will perform from 12-2pm and Chesterton natives Johnsie & Christina Mays will perform from 2:30-4:30pm. On October 7th two local artists will perform, Dave Hutchins from 12-2pm and Ronn Barany from 2:30-4:30pm.
