Get your fedoras and flapper dresses ready because Porter County Expo Center’s annual New Year's Eve Party is returning this year with a 1920's Speakeasy theme! 
Step back in time...to the era of Prohibition, illegal speakeasies and bathtub gin; of gangsters and silent film stars. Hot Jazz was sweeping the country and hemlines were rising with the heat.
After all, the '20s were a time when hard-working people were just looking to let loose and have some fun. Tell your friends to grab their zoot suits and flapper dresses, don their gangster hats and pearls, and get ready for a rip-roaring celebration. (1920’s attire recommended but not required)
Upon entrance to the Expo Speakeasy, all attendees will be asked to give the “password” to enter the joint. With coppers cracking down on the bootleggin' be sure you're not followed and get ready to party like it's 1923.
Rival Chicago Mob Gangsters Dutch Schultz “The Dutch Bunch” and Southside Sammy GaBino “GaBino Gang” are looking for territory in Indiana. They are trying to take over the Expo Speakeasy. They will mingle around the room trying to recruit members to their “Dutch Bunch” or “GaBino Gang”. You decided who’s the best MOB BOSS and WHO gets voted out of the Speakeasy… Let’s just hope there’s no raid on the place!
The festivities will begin at 6:30pm (remember to give the password: “Lucky Sent Me”) with cocktails and a social hour followed by a world famous Prime Rib dinner from Masters Catering at 7:30pm. During dinner you will be entertained by The City Lights Band. There will be a Charleston Dance Contest with prizes! 10:30pm til 1am you can dance in the New Year with Steve Zana from Indiana 105! The night will also be filled with Guys & Molls that will mingle with you throughout the evening. Also, for a small fee you can have a memorable picture made from Forever Images.
