Look for improvements to the following establishments: Chesterton Art Center, Ivy’s Bohemia House Restaurant, Hunter’s Brewery LLC, The Cottage brought to you by The Flower Cart, and Bennett Real Estate, LLC.

This program was established to promote façade renovation and landscape beautification of our communities’ downtown areas, preserve the communities’ downtowns, and assist local businesses in increasing accessibility of their buildings.

“We were so pleased with the improvements that occurred in the 2014 grant cycle. We are looking forward to all the improvements we will be seeing in the next couple months for 2015. Completion deadline is October 30,” said Maura Durham, President of the DEDC.

Hunter’s Brewery owners, Justin Reisetter and Amy Gentry have already completed their patio project and were awarded $4,000. Patricia Carlisle, Member At-Large for DEDC, was present for the check presentation.
