Opportunity Enterprises Seeks Support for its Angel Tree Program

oe logoIt’s never too early to get into the holiday spirit, and this October, Opportunity Enterprises is kicking off its annual Angel Tree Program. The organization is inviting community members to add some Christmas cheer to the lives of OE participants who have little or no family.

Individuals can support the program in one of three ways. Individuals may request to purchase gifts for a specific participant, make monetary donations or donations of gift cards that will be used to purchase gifts, or purchase an Angel Sampler through Opportunity Enterprises’ Simply Amazing Market. Angel Samplers include three small bags of gourmet popcorn and one pound of fudge, and a portion of sales will support the Angel Tree Program. Samplers may be purchased by visiting the Simply Amazing Market at OE, located at 2801 Evans Avenue, or online at www.simplyamazingtreats.com.

“The Angel Tree program allows our participants to feel so much joy on Christmas day. Without the support of our donors, they simply would not have a Christmas,” says Ellen DeMartinis, CEO. “This program is a wonderful way for our community to directly affect someone’s life in a very positive, meaningful way.”

It is requested that all donations are wrapped and turned in to the front desk at OE by December 5th. Individuals interested in supporting OE’s Angel Tree program may contact Sara Carter at 219-464-9621, ext. 332 or by e-mail at sara.carter@oppent.org.
