Franciscan St. Anthony Health-Michigan City Wins ‘Bowl-Off’ for Charity

13-Annual-Bowl-for-CharityA team from Franciscan St. Anthony Health-Michigan City was victorious over another from IU Health La Porte Hospital at the Michigan City Women’s Bowling Association’s 13th Annual Bowl For The Cure charity event at Lakeshore Lanes recently.

The Franciscan St. Anthony Health Center for Breast Health has been the recipient of a portion of the proceeds from “The Bowl For The Cure” since 2008 and uses the funds to provide mammograms for underprivileged area women. This year, the association requested a “bowl-off” between the hospitals to enhance fund-raising efforts, which resulted in more than $7,000 raised that was split between the hospitals.
