United Way of Porter County (UWPC) is joining nonprofits across Northwest Indiana in NWI Gives, a 24-hour online fundraising event.

All proceeds raised through NWI Gives will support UWPC's education initiative - I Need a Hug/Reading Buddies - which has been made possible through a partnership with Valparaiso University Girls Softball.

Your gift gives UWPC several chances to win money!
- Schedule your gift before Feb. 12 and UWPC will be eligible to win $1,000!
- $1,000 will be given away to the nonprofit with the most donors during the hours of 9am, 11am, 3pm, 5pm & 8pm!
- Participating nonprofits will be eligible for a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place prize - $3,500, $2,500 or $1,000 - for the most dollars raised!
- A random grand-prize winner will win $5,000!
