The first Rise and Shine Portage session will be held at 9 am Wednesday, July 3, at Rittenhouse Senior Living Community, 6235
Sterling Creek Rd., south of US 6 behind Lowe's. Poe & Associates will present Dan Fagen, who will discuss the mysteries of the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare) applicable to small businesses.
Complimentary coffee, water, fruit and pastries will be offered.

Midweek Mingle
The Portage Chamber's Ambassador/Membership committee has made plans for monthly social networking events each fourth Wednesday of the month starting at 4 pm, to be held at venues of Portage Chamber members. The events, called Midweek Mingle, will be non-structured and will allow participants to meet and interact with other business owners and employees in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
The first Midweek Mingle event is scheduled for Wednesday, June 26, starting at 4 pm at El Cantarito Restaurant, 6291 Central Avenue in Portage.
