Fleet Feet Sports Partners with United Way of Porter County for Race 13.1 Valpo

Fleet Feet Sports and T&H Timing have organized The Race 13.1 Valpo, a half marathon, to be held this Saturday, November 13 with proceeds benefiting United Way of Porter County. This race is a perfect course for half marathons. Winners of the race will receive embroidered runner hats and a certificate. Race t-shirts will also be given to all participants. Runners and guests will also have the opportunity to meet Fleet Feet Pete, an 8 foot shoe and race mascot. unitedway_portercounty

Proceeds of the race will support United Way of Porter County’s Power of Youth, representing students from eight Porter County high schools. These civically engaged student leaders are active role models who advocate for positive decision-making. Their goals include; increasing awareness of teen issues, engaging youth in volunteering and raising funds for programs in Porter County that address youth needs.

Registration for the race is 7:00 a.m. – 8:15 a.m. with the race starting at 8:30 a.m. Entrance fee is $35.
