Friendly Fortune raffle tickets are now on sale through Friends of Portage Township Foundation, Inc. Friendly Fortune is a 1 year ongoing, raffle drawing with three cash prize pots drawn each month. $250, $100 & $50 cash prizes will be awarded to lucky winners beginning with the first drawing on June 1st, 2015 and consecutive drawings the first Monday of each month through May of 2016.
“What’s great about this drawing”, states Carrie Belt, Fundraising Co-Chair, “is that your ticket can win in one month and then be put back in the pot for next month’s drawing. That’s 12 chances to win in a year all for only $20!” Total number of tickets being sold is 500.
This is an exclusive fundraising event; newcomers cannot buy into the raffle in the second and ongoing years until someone gives up their spot. Tickets cost $20 each and can be purchased by cash or check from any Friends of Portage Township Board member or through the Portage Township Trustee’s Office at 3484 Airport Road, Portage IN 46368.
All proceeds benefit Township Parks in South Haven. Friends of Portage Township Foundation Inc. is dedicated to sustaining and expanding the Portage Township Department of Parks and Recreation and inspiring environmental preservation through initiatives designed to raise and leverage funds, increase community awareness and promote enjoyment of the outdoors.
