Portage (RT Portage) is part of a National Organization that assists homeowners with repairs to their homes that they could otherwise not do themselves. This year, RT Portage is working on six homes plus doing a little work at Gabriel's Horn. This organization is reliant on volunteers and businesses. This year, we have about 400 volunteers that will be working on the different sites, or many other various jobs/duties on that day.
The work RT Portage does changes the lives and hearts of the homeowners forever. It also changes the lives and hearts of the workers because there is nothing like the feeling you get when you help someone that is in need.
