Frontline Foundations Combating Substance Abuse In One Accord

Join the Frontline Foundations for discussions on how to best combat addiction and substance abuse within Porter County on October 26, 2010 at the Porter County Expo Center, 215 East Division Rd., Valparaiso, IN. In One Accord: Combating Substance Abuse is a two part event with a workshop from 1pm to 6pm and dinner with key note speaker Josh McDowell from 6pm to 8pm. McDowell is a part of a division of the Campus Crusade for Christ International and has spoke in over 155 countries and authored 120 books, most notably New Evidence That Demands a Verdict. The Workshop includes a range of participants, including Mayor Jon Costas, The Honorable Judge Julia Jent, Porter County Drug Court; Robert Taylor, Porter County Drug Task Force; Johann Farley, M.D. Certified Addiction Medicine and panel discussions with Rev. Douglas M. Ronsheim, D. Min., Executive Director of the American Pastoral Counselors, Fairfax, VA. This event is ideal for community law enforcement, government, educators, healthcare professionals, clergy and concerned citizens for developing strategies to combat substance abuse.
