Do something special for the young people in your life and join Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County’s annual “Day for Kids” celebration on Saturday, September 20, 2014. “Day for Kids” will be held at Zao Island, (1050 Horse Prairie Avenue, Valparaiso) from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Every year, “Day for Kids” events are held by Boys & Girls Clubs across the country as a way to honor children and emphasize the importance of meaningful time spent with caring adults. Locally, hundreds of children and their families participate in “Day for Kids” to have fun together and create memories which will last a lifetime.
Tickets for Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County’s “Day for Kids” celebration are on sale now. Tickets are just $3.00 each for the first 200 tickets sold and then $6.50 each for the remaining available tickets. Each ticket is good for one round of mini-golf, 20 arcade/ batting cage tokens, and their choice of one additional attraction, for example go-karts, or Laser Tag. “Day for Kids” is a rain or shine event.
