To Save a Life

National Suicide Prevention Week is September 6 – 12, 2010. Here at Crossroads Family Church, we hold high the precious commodity of life. The loss of two students from the community last spring has weighed heavy on our hearts. We cannot sit back and do nothing. We want to make a difference in Portage and the surrounding communities. We have joined forces with the “To Save a Life Outreach” and are going to be presenting their powerful presentation of the movie “To Save A Life”. This movie is designed to speak to teenagers showing how “Teens can reach out to Teens”. Whether an adult trying to make a difference, the teenager who doesn’t know how or where to start to make a difference, or the person whose life could be changed by just one extended hand, the characters in this movie are relatable and can touch lives.

fOUrtWeLve Youth ministries at Crossroads Family Church will be hosting a presentation of the movie “To Save A Life” on Saturday, September 11, 2010. Doors will open at 2:00pm for this FREE presentation. Concessions will be available for purchase.

We are asking you to help get the word out to anyone who wants to make a difference or anyone who needs someone to make a difference in their life. This presentation is open to the entire community. Our goal is to invite every student in the area to come and view this movie with us on September 11.

September 11 has historical devastation attached to it for many. Let’s make it a day of rebuilding and life for the youth in our community
