The students of Aylesworth Elementary School have raised and donated nearly $1,000 to World Vision.

The school’s Kindness Club organized a Water Wars event in early September in order to raise funds to donate. During the school’s Thursday Tribe Time meeting, Aylesworth principal Jeff King announced that the school raised an donated $965, which will provide 19 children with clean water for the rest of their lives.

The four classes that raised the most money include Candice Beukema’s kindergarten class, Justine McKee’s first-grade class, Heather Stamper’s second-grade class, and Caryn Rybecki’s four-grade class.

World Vision is an international organization that provides aid to children around the world. One aspect of their mission is to provide communities with access to clean drinking water. Aylesworth Elementary School was happy to be able to support World Vision in this mission.
